TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRICES
All prices are based on costs prevailing at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice. However, once a holiday has been paid for we will guarantee the price, unless it is subsequently affected by Government action or other influence beyond the control of Roadmast travel.

RESERVATIONS
A deposit minimum of 50 per cent of the tour costs is required on booking and the balance not later than 25 days before the tour begins. Not withstanding any prior confirmation arrangements, the right is reserved not to execute tours if payment has not been received in accordance with the foregoing.

CANCELLATIONS
In the event of a cancellation, notice of which must be given in writing, the deposit may be refunded minus, the charges for reservations that have been processed, cancellation fees imposed by hotels /lodges, transporters and any other relevant expenses. If a cancellation is received within 15 days of commencement of tour, a cancellation fee of 50 per cent of the total land arrangements will be charged and a charge of 100 per cent if cancellation is made within 7 days commencement or incase of a `` no show’’.

RATES
Our rates include all expenses in connection with vehicle and driver for the itineraries set out, park entry fees, hotel accommodation with full board table d’hote meals whilst on safari. Arrangements are on full board basis unless otherwise stated. Not included are airport taxes, visas, gratuities (other than service Charges) alcoholic drinks, laundry and other personal expenses.

SECURITY
In keeping with security measures worldwide, visitors are advised not to leave any valuables in their hotel rooms when they go out, but to make use of the safe deposit boxes, which are available at most hotels and lodges. As in all major cities, it is advisable to avoid back streets / risky areas. It is safer to avoid night walking altogether and to contact your travel handlers to make appropriate transport arrangements. Kenya has an excellent police force and most hotels have experienced security personnel and doormen.

ACCOMODATION
Wherever possible we book rooms with private bathrooms on the basis of two people sharing a double room. Single rooms may be available at supplementary prices but neither single rooms nor rooms with private bathrooms can be guaranteed especially within the national parks / game reserves. Hotels where mentioned are named as an indication of category and rooms may be booked in similar hotels or lodges.

CHECK OUT TIME
The standard check out time in most hotels is 10.00 am regardless of the actual departure time from your hotel. Day room facilities may be available for clients leaving in the evening or they may allow you to keep your room until departure depending on the occupancy of the hotel. A charge will be payable locally for this service.

TIPS
Tips are never demanded but it is normal practice to give 5 to 10 US$ to those who give good service such as driver guides, porters, hotel staff etc.
